In China, the civilization of Buddhism has a time-honored history. That is the reason why we failed to identify the derivation of this white marble grotto Buddha head. But we have the faith that, Buddha would meet the fated people. So, no matter where does this artwork come from, say the Yungang Grottoes, Longmen Grottoes, or some other places, it is not important whatsoever. What really matters is it has recorded and witnessed the history of China and the devious development of the Buddhism.
