The tin pot of Qing Dynasty was often used by Taoists. In the folk, people often used the porcelain pot, but the tin pot was rare.
This artwork was delicately made and with distinctive design: a peach on the lid of the pot, which has an obvious vestige of Taoism. Since China's Taoism has the belief of longevity, the heavy metal material were used to smelted for elixir, so their vessels were also metal products.
