Jun Kiln was the most famous porcelain kiln in Northern China following the Ru Kiln since Earlier Song Dynasty. Except for adopting blue glaze, Jun Kiln further created the ˇ°red glazeˇ±, which was known as the Jun Red or ˇ°Copper Red Glazeˇ±. This artwork is the representative of copper red glaze of Jun Kiln. The porcelain of Jun Kiln was mainly provided for royal court in Earlier Song Dynasty, which was gradually lost its popularity in the late Yuan Dynasty.
